James has over twenty years property development experience across all asset classes.
At the beginning of his career he worked in the development and asset management sectors with CLS Holdings in London.
Before establishing Harlex Property, James developed a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the property market in the North West as Development Director with Kier Property and prior to that Argent Estates. He has managed the acquisition and delivery of a range of high profile development projects across the region.
Tom joined Harlex Property in 2021 and is focused on the acquisition and delivery of high-profile development projects across the North of England.
Tom has been working in the property industry since 2016 and spent the first 5 years of his career working within the Development Advisory & Agency department at Colliers International. During his time at Colliers he advised a range of clients from PLC’s and Institutions to Private Family Offices on the acquisition, delivery and disposal of development projects over a range of asset classes.
The founder of Harlex has worked in the industry for 25 years, delivering a large number of schemes for a wide-variety of well-funded capital partners.
The experience has led to strong relationships being forged with Institutional Investors, Overseas Capital Partners, Family Offices, Private Equity Companies, Property Companies and a series of High-Net-Worth Individual Investors.

We currently have specific requirements from funders looking for sites in the Urban Logistic, Industrial, Office, Retail and Single-Family Dwelling sectors, in close proximity to major towns and cities. Our funding will enable us to acquire sites with vacant possession or with short term income for value add and core plus mandates.
Harlex will also work in partnership with funders, public sector partners, occupiers/end users, land and property owners to unlock value in a development management or asset management capacity.
